Equines Assisting Special Individuals (EASI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in Walker County Alabama in July, 2005 .
The need for a therapeutic horseback ridding opportunity for the children and adults with disabilities and special needs in the Walker County and surrounding areas was recognized and then acted upon by a dedicated group of individuals.
EASI is funded in part by the Walker Area Community Foundation, private and corporate donations, and fund raisers. EASI is a Premier Accredited Center of NARHA, an organization formed in 1969 to promote equine assisted activities for people with and without disabilities , through education, communication, standards, and research.
Our facility is conveniently located just off Highway 69N in the Boldo community.
